The "Waldversteck" is located in a small village near Breungeshain, a small suburb of Schotten - and is therefore at the heart of the Naturepark Hoher Vogelsberg!

Lots of activities are available in the summer!

  • Hiking paradise (also possible with nature park guides) for small and large tours
  • Four routes with a total length of 30km are available for Nordic Walking
  • Mountain bike trailers can let off steam on 160km of trails
  • Golfers will find an 18-hole course in Eschenrod
  • Swimming, sailing, surfing and fishing are on offer at the Nidda Reservoir (dogs are welcome!)
  • many more possibilities! (for example, climbing forest, summer toboggan run, bird park)

In the winter 70km of cross country routes and two short hills invite you to go skiing.
